With 120 GB of storage and 10 ounces in weight the Wolverine MVP is literally a heavyweight MP3 player. Next to the iPod Classic and Archos 604, this portable has the most storage space we reviewed; however, physically the Wolverine MVP is large and clunky, it is 3 x 5 x 1.2 inches. Additionally, it doesn’t support DRM protected media and the battery life is sub-par.
One of the benefits of the MVP is its compatibility with several operating systems including Windows, MAC and Linux. This player can also record from a line-in and has a digital voice recorder. It also has an audio and a video out so the MVP can be connected to a projector, television or a stereo.
The MVP plays many audio file formats including MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV and CDA, but only in an unprotected state. The MVP supports common image file formats like jpg, bmp, gif, tiff and RAW. It can directly download from many popular cameras brands. Its 7-in-1 card reader is very convenient for uploading images directly to your portable.
Wolverine MVP can also play mp4, mov, avi and xvid formats and has good display ability.©2008 TopTenREVIEWS, Inc.
